I will be moving to Paris this summer to begin graduate school in Paris in September. Although my school program will be taught in English, I still want to learn to speak French as well as possible for everyday living aside from school. During July and August, I would like to do an intensive program of French study in order to prepare. I would welcome all suggestions for the best French language programs that occur during the summer. Thanks very much!
Try checking the French department at your University. They should have a list of accredited programs that they accept, and that would be a good start.
CIEE probably has a program in Paris, you could check their website (I think it’s just ciee.com or something like that…the letters stand for Center for International Educational Exchange, I think…can’t remember..wasn’t my program…)
I’ll go check.

hey, where will you be attending school?! I’m moving to France for the second time in July (probably Paris or just outside of) to au pair… and I’m graduating from CalBerkeley in June… I think grad school in France would rock! All that being said, you must speak some French if you decided to go to school and live your life in this country.
