FSB was a Protestant school for girls from all over Ireland, with deliberately modest fees and quite rigorous sports. In 1966, rather than become exclusively priced, or part of the Irish State system, it was closed. My mother attended the school in the 1950s. This book has documented an obscure part of Irish history that had seemed forgotten except in spoken memory. Well done.
