I want to get one of these two phrases tattooed on my wrist.
"When words fail music speaks"
or
"When words fail love speaks"
-The first is a qoute I found, the second I thought was a twist that would make it more my own. I just want to be sure it’s the right french phrase I get on me and it’s not said wrong!
"Quand les mots échouent, la musique parle"
"Quand les mots échouent, l’amour parle"
To be honest with you, I like the second one way better, and it makes a lot more sense than the first one.
Oh, and I’ve got a wrist tattoo too! I think it’s awesome you’re getting one.

How about a little variation?
Quand les mots nous faillent, la musique nous parle.
Second one
Quand les mots nous faillent, l’amour nous parle.
When words fail us, music speaks to us.
When words fail us, love speaks to us.
Somehow I like the phrases better with the "to us" in them.
