@mat6268 Agreed. That’s? why so many kids here (USA) have “speech problems”. It isn’t problems, it’s just that the language is so damn hard!

Yes. That is just what I meant. I? suppose my ears were deceiving me then for a moment. Sometimes accents are not as strong as expected or not so generalized. I was a bit thrown off.

sorry, I’m? spanish speaking and i’m trying to understand you… you are saying that é must sound like née? if so, I hear it that way
thanks for taking the time of making the comment…
I say this, ’cause on spanish “ay” is REALLY different from “née”

I listen again and now it sounds more like “ay.” Do listen closely and know that (é)? is pronounced “ay.”

This seems incorrect. Though I would like to assume it? is his accent I am hearing, out of context his aigu (é) sounds like “ee” instead of “ay,” as heard in cahier, pied, or née. Don’t give me negative just because I’m being critical, especially if you don’t speak French.

In fact, when you pronounce it, ONLY ONE. (excepted â, wich is simply a long “a”).
the written term “à” is useful in written french to avoid ambiguities between the verb “avoir” and “à”.
On the contrary, in english, you have 8 “fucking”" “A” and absolutly *no rules* to know how to pronounce them!
Very puzzling for? non native speakers!

Only one 2? diferentes ”A”
1-A
2-à
