Im in French 2 at my school and it doesn’t seem that hard but Im 100% sure that I still need to take more French classes.I say that because my school doesn’t have a very good French teacher and doesn’t offer French 3. What can I do for my senior year and after highschool to learn French? And what kind of job opportunities can I expect from doing so?
I don’t know, right in France we don’t have many jobs because of our economy. Plus, French schools teach English to us when we start grade school. Most of us know basic English by the time we finish school, so translator or lesion wouldn’t be good for you.
Hopefully when you graduate college the economy will be booming and more international jobs will be open. It’s always nice that people are taking interest in French, but be careful about calling it easy. French grammar even confuses us! haha
You could become an English teacher in French speaking countries. =) Every country needs teachers.

I don’t know about your first question, but for the second, you could become a translator or interpreter, or an ambassador in a French-speaking country, or an "English second language" teacher in a French-speaking community… and probably many more!

lol..i would say based on my knowledge get Rosetta stone to learn all levels… and with respect to jobs..there are a lot..you could be a translator working in an embassy or u can even be a flight attendant..you know being fluent in another language is greatly awarded over lots of others when it comes to employment in most companies..and i mean that on a global scale..think of all the opportunities you would be dealt..one last simple example being a news correspondent..i mean you would be chosen over you colleagues to actually be the one to fly all over the world!!!
good luck!!
