Is There a PIMSLEUR LANGUAGE COURSE For YIDDISH?

Famous linguist and language professor Paul Pimsleur developed courses
in many known languages French, Spanish, German, Hebrew, as well as
others in THAI, Farsi, and so on. Yet, I wonder, if Dr. Paul Pimsleur developed
a YIDDISH language program available to the public at large.

Pimsleur vs. Rosetta Stone – which method would you choose to learn a foreign language and why?

I am considering, over the next few weeks picking up something to increase my Spanish speaking ability (of which I have some) and some time in the future learn French (of which I have no experience).

I have been considering Rosetta Stone but have also heard Pimsleur mentioned. Trying to get some info to decide which would be best. Any insights would be great. Thanks!

How proficient in French will I be after I finish both Pimsleur and Rosetta Stone?

I am very far in both of these programs. I am on lesson 65 of 90 for Pimsleur and I am beginning disk 3 of 3 of Rosetta Stone.

I feel like, yeah I know a lot of French, but I don’t really feel like I’m where I wanted to be. I don’t expect to get amazingly good at French at the end of these programs.

Has anyone else completed these programs and had it work very well for them? If you had the same attitude as me while at the same part of the programs or If you were as disappointed as me, can you recommend something you did to add on to the knowledge that these programs gave you?

Personally, I’m convinced that the only way to actually learn how to speak a language is to actually use it in real life.

Anyone learned French with Pimsleur?

I’m currently learning French with this program (I’m halfway thru level II) and it has been very good, however, I think I can speak and understand a lot but, I doubt I will be able to understand written French…

I can make out some of the words because I also speak Spanish and Italian and they’re very similar… but still…
